The
hatred of human beings as much to kill millions of them is unfathomable to me.
Adolf Hitler grew up in Vienna which was anti-Semitic and the hatred of Jews
well known. ("Anne frank,"
2010.) From the time he was born, it was
‘normal’ to hate Jews. The question many of us have is why? Even if you hate
someone so much, why would you kill off an entire population? The Great
Depression in Germany created a weak political system, and gave the opportunity
for Hitler to rise to fame. He was appointed chancellor of Germany and his
dictatorship began. According to Hitler, Jews were the reason for all of the
problems in the country and getting rid of them was the way to fix Germany.
With a strong support system behind him, he began his cruel plan to eliminate
the Jewish population. World War II broke out in an attempt to stop Hitler from
taking over the country and the world. Hitler’s motivation for killing was
because of his hatred of Jews. He thought Germany would thrive after getting
rid of the Jews, and lots of people agreed with him. (Hitler, 2014.) There’s a
lot of controversy around this topic. The Jews did nothing to receive the harsh
punishments and persecutions that they did. Some people blame Hitler’s
intentions on his childhood, but I think it was just a way for a coward man to
rise to fame in his attempt to rule the world.
